this is all very close but I decided against E10 (A)KEE because I really didn't like the leave. this also set up the sneaky I7 E(V)E with another E draw, which bails me out on a lot of racks. Nevertheless this is probably #tacticssad
I thought maybe this has some merit to help control the northwest after bingoes to WHELP, but this was totally ridiculous and I should just play BARF. #tacticssadder
Since there's nothing I can really do to block Evan's new threat, I saw some nice parallels on Row 7 that can score nicely. B2 AUTOMA(TE) is a nice way to clean up the rack and surprisingly sims ahead of these Row 7 reparallels, however I think my idea of Row 7 plays is still better. 7C MAUT is a better version to basically force him to bingo immediately. #visionmedium
I mean at this point, the 8 more unseen Is are a problem, so I think that B12 GUL should have been the play to minimize my odds of a bad draw. It is simming at the top with O1 GUSTO to take out the dangerous WANDS hook. #findingsmall
WOT screams S setup to me. I can't help but feel a bit stumped. I did hesitate to do A12 CUSS just because I thought RAIDINGS* was good (and so did he). I wanted a potential comeback response if Evan were to hit a bingo next turn. With that said, I did not see I8 S(A)UCY which would have been nice middle ground between cleaning up the rack and scoring decently. #findingmedium
Omg...I missed a really cool idea here. I did not see that I could have made BRAIDINGS, which is valid, with G7 CAB. That sets up an S hook that will be extremely difficult for Evan to block and it keeps additional lanes in MANSIONS open. #visionlarge
I think I sacrificed too much short-term equity even if I made a board conducive to my S hook. 4G U(P)HOVE is not an easy play to spot and I think that's better to minimize risk. Evan is more unlikely to hit 2x2s from the V after he just picked 6 tiles, and me picking 2 vowels could potentially kill me for several turns. #findingmedium
B1 NIQAB does score 14 more than this. That said, I'm shocked I didn't lose out on that much win % even though I lost out on a decent amount of equity. Maybe this isn't that bad of a time to miss NIQAB given that I only need to win the game? There are still 5 more Is to pick and leaving RU won't help out too much with that. I should still find NIQAB and play that given that Evan is more random. #visionmedium
missed mate in one. somehow I got so bogged down in being able to play 14B GLAZE with an A draw that I missed GLOZE until the second I hit the clock. Absolute game-losing mistake. this was ridiculous #findingsaddest
